Marketing Manager – Starbucks Cobrand Credit Acquisitions

Job Description

Overview:
The candidate will play a primary role in driving the strategy of Acquisition Card Marketing for the Starbucks cobrand within Chase. This role will have the responsibility of creating, organizing, and executing acquisition marketing campaigns to drive the businesses’ profitable growth. The ideal candidate will be seeking a senior level 603 role in which they will be able demonstrate their skills in collaboration, project management, marketing strategy and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. This individual will have high visibility, and daily involvement, with multiple stakeholders within the leadership team, key internal functional partners and cobrand partner representatives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Have accountability and ownership for the Acquisition Marketing within cobrand acquisition marketing team, including:

    • Compile an annual marketing plan and seeing to its execution

    • Manage the acquisitions timeline calendar for campaign execution – source code build, partner handled creative, etc.

    • Take initiatives from ideas to fruition using any resources available through self-motivated pursuit

    • Maintain an ongoing marketing and reporting calendar, ensuring the partner receives everything needed per their contract

    • Extensive interaction with internal peers and the Partner to consistently deliver quality results grounded in the best interest of the business, cardmembers and Partner

 

 Qualifications:

  • Proven marketing experience within Card acquisitions

  • Very strong project management, communication, multi-tasking, innovation, and leadership skills

  • Ability to work both independently and with a team to deliver consistently high quality work product

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally to a range of audiences – from senior management to operations groups and the Partner

  • Inquisitive self-starter

  • Strong interpersonal skills and self-awareness

  • Ability to think analytically and strategically while managing multiple tactical priorities

  • Passion for problem solving, persistence and patience, strong desire to learn and grow professionally

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, solve problems creatively, and deal with ambiguity

  • Demonstrated ability to collaboratively lead and influence cross-functional internal /external teams

  • Preference for candidate with understanding of internal processes, procedures and systems linked to acquisition campaign execution

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; MBA is a plus
