Marketing Manager, VP - Card Acquisitions Strategy - Funnel Optimization

Role Description:


The selected candidate will develop and drive initiatives to optimize the acquisition conversion funnel across channels and lead our acquisition testing agenda.  This newly create role will work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment with a cross functional team to improve conversion and deliver business results.  This role will have high exposure to senior leaders and collaborate with teams across the Acquisition Center of Excellence, Analytics, Digital, Finance, Risk, Legal and Compliance.  The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a strong analytical thinker and a creative problem solver with a bias towards challenging the status quo. 

Key areas of focus include:

  • Monitor and analyze trends in the conversion funnel across channels to identify opportunity areas

  • Develop testing hypotheses, design test constructs and prioritize testing roadmap to optimize learning

  • Lead cross functional team dedicated to testing – including test plan coordination, prioritization of testing resources, leading recurring testing review meetings

  • Interpret test results to inform future tests and identify “winners” for implementation

  • Monitor competitive trends to identity insights and best practices to inform testing agenda

  • Accountable for delivering business growth objectives through conversion rate improvements

  • Lead initiatives to accerlate test and learn cycles and speed to market of winning ideas

  • Communicate testing insights across the card marketing organization to share best practices



  • 5+ years of experience in customer acquisition marketing strategy or other relevant experience

  • Experience working in Financial Services, Credit Card or Consumer Banking marketing preferred

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target or similar platforms

  • Analytical thinker with demonstrated ability to identify and articulate insights as well as turn insights into strategy

  • Thought leader with the ability to develop an innovative testing agenda and deliver actionable insights

  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills with ability to drive stakeholders to a common goal

  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of Credit Card P&L

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and strong time management skills

  • Ability to develop clear and concise executive communication materials – strong verbal and written communication skills
