Marketing Director, My Chase Loan and My Chase Plan

Job Description

 

This dynamic position within the Lending Strategy team manages the end to end product and marketing strategy for My Chase Loanâ„¢ and My Chase Planâ„¢ across consumer and small business credit card portfolios in Chase Card Services.  The Marketing Director of My Chase Loanâ„¢ and My Chase Planâ„¢ will have general management responsibility for managing the program P&L, identifying opportunities to drive profitable growth in the programs, rolling out capabilities for our customers, ensuring a frictionless customer experience across the marketing funnel (from targeting to response), defining the product development roadmap and collaborating with various card portfolios and partners on strategies tailored to unique customer segments.  In order to meet both the firm’s financial and customer experience goals, the candidate will need to work with colleagues across a variety of functional areas (credit risk, portfolio marketing, operations, legal, compliance, finance, etc.) to implement strategies and deliver results.  For instance, the role serves as the product owner in the agile development process and works with IT and technology partners to continue innovating on these exciting new products and serving our customers.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage program P&L, including the submission of annual budgets and forecasts for both marketing expense and program revenues and reviewing results with Finance and Analytics to ensure programs meet business objectives
  • Own responsibility for the agile development process, including making prioritization decisions and collaborating closely with technology partners to innovate

  • Lead cross functional team, including Finance, Marketing Analytics, Risk Management, and Operations, to develop the programs’ marketing, investment and pricing strategy

  • Collaborate with our card portfolios, partners, and counterparts and other lines of business to identify opportunities to serve unique customer segments

  • Develop and implement strategic growth initiatives to expand eligible population and drive response into digital channels

  • Work with creative agencies and execution teams to develop marketing collateral and to implement strategies into direct mail, email and digital marketing channels

  • Monitor customer feedback and recommend program and capability enhancements to ensure best in class customer experience

  • Manage program P&L, financial reporting and distribution of results to senior leadership

 

 

Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred

10+ years of related financial, analytical, or marketing experience

Proven understanding of credit card P&Ls and drivers of profitability

Strong analytical, process engineering, and problem solving skills

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work independently as well as lead cross-functional teams is required

Ability to influence the business and drive measurable outcomes

Ability to articulate complex issues in a concise manner to all levels of the business

Experience interacting with financial regulators is a plus

Experience in the agile development process is a plus
