CCB Risk

Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others

 

This role will partner with technology groups, business partners, project analysts/managers, and external offshore vendor resources to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing.  Individuals will be responsible and accountable for managing all aspects of the  business testing  function. The function is considered complex in nature with significant business impact.   Responsible for managing and coordinating UAT planning (strategies, timelines, scripts), execution (prioritization, monitoring), and defect management & reporting activities across impacted areas to ensure consistency and control.  Provide execution support and leadership for large, complex, technology-dependent programs and projects that cut across business and functional areas.  Define strategies and approaches for User Acceptance. Manage testing activities as well as setting and stewarding sound testing methodologies.  

 

Scope of Role & Complexity

  • Develop and maintain testing standards and processes; manage quality improvement activities

  • Lead the identification, creation , and execution of critical  XLOB Business End-to-End testing activities

  • Manage test planning, execution and reporting across multiple projects/complex programs in alignment with Business needs

  • Extensive knowledge of industry standard testing tools, automation  and  testing methodologies

  • Participates in the development of goals and execution of strategies

  • Leads a  large team of testers both manual and automation


  • 8-10 years Financial  Services experience with 8+ years in Quality Assurance

  • 5+ years of people management experience

  • Program or Project Management capacity in IT or Business environment

  • Demonstrable experience with a focus on test planning, test execution and defect management

  • Experience testing in a Unix operating system

  • Knowledgeable in constructing SQL queries

  • TSYS and Consumer banking/credit card experience is a plus

  • Expertise using HP ALM for test management

  • Experience working in an agile framework using JIRA

  • Advanced MS Excel, PPT, Word, Project skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as effective meeting facilitation skills

  • Outstanding in-person and virtual team skills are a MUST while also being able to work independently

  • Strong relationship and/or client management skills

  • Ability to influence and negotiate across a wide variety of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes

  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize and escalate appropriately

  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through and results orientated

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
