Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) serves consumers and small businesses with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, small business banking and lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. Consumer & Community Banking Risk Management partners with each CCB sub-line of business to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate risk. Types of risk that occur in consumer businesses include fraud, reputation, operational, credit, market and regulatory, among others


Consumer Banking Risk Management is seeking a highly motivated candidate who can consistently and effectively provide controls oversight across our reporting and data analytics environment.  Top candidates will demonstrate strong analytic & problem solving skills, superior work ethics, and consistently proven the ability to assess information and formulate recommendations to meet objectives effectively in a fast pace and dynamic environment.  Prior experience and proven success operating in a cross matrixed organization is required, as this candidate will work directly with multiple fraud strategy teams within the Consumer Banking Risk Organization as well as our CCB Risk Reporting Governance Team and CCB Risk Data office.  Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Executing the end to end reporting and data standards resulting from the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) principles and ensuring the report delivery processes and data validation processes meet business needs.

  • Development & Implementation of process flows and detailed procedure documents

  • This Proactive identification and assessment of procedural risks associated with our reporting & analytical environment, while driving future enhancement to our control structure

  • Development and on-going evaluations of internal controls and sustainable solutions to mitigate future risk

  • Training of internal staff on policies and procedures

  • Inventory management as it pertains to reports and dashboards in our production environment

  • Management of Agile book of work to support reporting change requests, analytical requests and ad-hoc analysis our team is presented with

  • Research and analysis to successfully meet requirements for affirmations, attestations and audits at required frequencies

  • Managing diverse tasks and responding to emerging issues


  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years professional work experience in a  analytical, controls, technology or related field required

  • Strong people management, project management, communication skills and attention to detail

  • Strong analytical skills, writing, and presentation skills
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required
  • CCB Line of Business and/or US retail financial services business process and procedure knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL, SAS, and BI Reporting Tools (Tableau/Cognos) is preferred
  • Knowledge of consumer risk management and governance concepts preferred
  • 4 years Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Business, Finance / Economics, data analysis, Computer Science, mathematics or other analytical discipline preferred
