Quant Analytics Senior Associate

If so, then this might be the right opportunity for you.  Quant Analytics Senior Associate will be part of the Digital Product Team that utilizes machine learning approach to improve our customers experience across our digital platforms, such as the Chase Mobile app.  We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to assess and identify opportunities to improve our Virtual Assistant product. 




The individual will be working closely with our Product Managers, Technology, and Artificial Intelligence Modeling teams to enhance our new digital product.  You will help the team develop understanding of how consumers are engaged with our new product and identify opportunities to achieve our goals.  As a strategic and analytical thinker, you will use your passion to deliver insights to 1) provide support during product life cycle process, 2) monitor and conduct analyses of the product, and 3) deliver insights to improve customer experience or build out new features. 




Success in this role requires a strong foundation in data and analysis skills coupled with a proven ability to translate analytical insights in to comprehensive optimized action plans.  The role requires constant interactions across product development, relationship management, and technology. Strong communication, curiosity to learn new skills, and collaboration are a must in tandem with a deep desire to deliver significant value to the organization.




Key responsibilities include:       


  • Evaluating performance of the our machine learning product
  • Enhancing our data capabilities by working with their product peers to capture new data 
  • Providing insights to improve customer experience through conversational analysis
  • Communicating results across various internal clients  and management




• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Predictive Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or MBA or other graduate degree preferred
• 5+ years of professional experience as an analyst and proficiency with at least two programming language for data analysis (e.g., SAS,SQL, or R) and working in large data sets ( e.g. 20 million+ rows)
• Experience with text mining and natural language processing and understanding of machine learning, is a plus
• Natural curiosity with strong work ethics -- asking the next question and seeking to understand at the nuanced level to spark a new idea and ability to influence and execute on the initiative
• Enthusiasm to learn and teach new things and self-starter with out-of-the box problem solving skills who can provide thought leadership and drive results
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative start-up environment and experience working in an agile methodology
• Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, keep numerous tasks on track and manage ad-hoc data to form insightful business analysis with aggressive turnaround timelines
