As the Vice President of Product Development -- User Experience, you would join us during a time of transformation and growth that touch a range of solutions that span the web, mobile and IoT / hardware devices as well. In this role, you will be a key part of ADP's WorkForce Now division that provides holistic, end-to-end human capital management solutions for small, mid and large sized companies throughout North America. You will have the opportunity to lead a world class team of UX designers & researchers that is coalesced with a dynamic team of software engineers, automation engineers and architects. This is a unique opportunity to not only deliver a world-class user experience design but also own and manage a scalable UI platform that bring designs to reality.

We are looking for someone who's had real world experience in delivering digital products from design to production for a multi-billion-dollar enterprise platform. As a product development leader, we're not only interested in your technical aptitude and your ability to deliver but your product design and customer-first approach as well. In addition, you will apply your experience and thought leadership in all categories within WorkForce Now, which include payroll, HR, benefits, time and much more.   • As a UX leader, you'll be responsible for creating compelling user experience design, both visual and interactional, across the WFN ecosystem that include web, mobile and devices. You're adapt at traversing multiple stakeholder groups both internally and externally to understand and analyze user needs and translate those needs into usable, valuable and desirable user interface designs and flows.
  • As an R&D leader, you will have end-to-end responsibility and ownership of the meta-data platform that encompasses all UI components for WFN. This entails understanding and conveying the vision to your team, flushing out a beautiful UX/UI design, ensuring the technical design spot on, delivering the product with high level of operational excellence, and owning all the enhancements and defects associated with your product.
  • As an executive, you will need to interact with key stakeholders that include product management, product marketing and business partners. In addition, your ability to establish relationships and partnership with service, implementation and sales will greatly contribute to your success in this organization.
  • As a UX researcher, you will drive and lead user research across WFN that will generate actionable insights by triangulating findings from customer feedback, related testing, market and user surveys, benchmark data, and web and mobile analytics. You will inspire change by communicating research findings through qualitative (i.e. voice of the customer) and quantitative methods (i.e. analytics) that are convincing and actionable for both research experts and non-experts alike.
  • You are not just a manager but an effective and inspirational leader as well. You have a way of inspiring people and they want to work for you. You'll set clear goals and manage everyone's expectations so that it is not only challenging but rewarding as well. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that your associates are highly engaged.
  • You are a strong partner and have experience working in a complex, matrix environment that include multiple stakeholders. You should be able to cater your conversations appropriately between business / non-technical audience (i.e. Product Management, Product Marketing, Service & Implementation leaders) and technical groups at ADP (i.e. Enterprise Architects, Global Security Organization, Infrastructure).
  • You have experience delivering B2C solutions that deliver best-in-class user experience and user interface design. Since you are working on a solution that impact the livelihood for millions of people, it is critical that you bring the customer's perspective and voice to the table and have real-world experience doing it.
  • With Operational Excellence being one of our key goals, it is critical that you manage project timelines, deployment and operational plans, and budget and ensure that business requirements are met with high quality.
  • Lead and monitor the agile delivery cycle for effectiveness & productivity. Participates in key project reviews and organizational activities.
  • Keeps up to date on technology changes, especially with regard to UI frameworks, tools and methodologies. Stays current with skills required for job assignment and progression to further knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Serves as a member of the senior technical leadership team to guide technology strategy and approaches.
  • Leverage and integrate best practices for continuous process improvement.




  • 15+ years of relevant product development experience
  • 8+ years of leadership and people management experience
  • In depth experience in delivering highly trafficked digital products (B2C or B2B) from design to production. Experience in user research and product design methodologies required (must provide real world examples that you've contributed to). I
  • Experience working in globally distributed teams




  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
