Digital Account Opening / Originations (DAO) is the first Digital touchpoint many of our customers will have with Chase. The DAO team owns and drives the end-to-end digital origination experience for Chase across all of Chase’s lines of business, from consumer to card to lending. Our efforts help further Chase’s evolving multi-channel experience: enabling customers to shop, apply, and set up their products and services easily wherever they are and however they choose.

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Strategy leader to join our Strategy & Business Operations team. The mandate of the Strategy & Business Operations team is to:

 Translate the goals of the lines-of-business to actionable digital product strategy

 Leverage product analytics to fuel performance through iterative, data-driven decision-making

 Manage business planning and reporting for efficient and effective program delivery

Specifically, the focus of this role will be on developing strategy that will guide the evolution of DAO and maximize performance of the program. The Vice-President of Strategy will be responsible for maintaining our strategic vision, crafting program and platform strategy, setting priorities, and developing performance objectives. In doing so, the candidate will partner deeply with not only DAO leadership and product owners, but also with strategy leads across CCB lines of business.

Key Responsibilities include supporting:

  •  Be the expert in relevant market, product, competitive, and consumer insights
  •  Be the owner and evangelist of DAO’s vision and mission
  •  Develop unifying DAO program strategy and supporting platform strategy; strategy must further overall platform growth, as well as promote line-of-business goals and strategies
  •  Align and re-inforce strategy with performance management framework / KPIs and targets
  •  Partner with Business Ops lead to develop and implement structured annual planning process
  •  Partner with area product owners on technology, innovation, and capabilities strategy
  •  Work with lines-of-business and analytics partners to deliver customer learnings and insights
  •  Clearly articulate strategy to senior leaders and stakeholders in order to: influence, gain buy-in, and communicate performance
  •  Collaborate with Finance on business reporting, as relevant

Qualifications:

  •  6+ years of experience, including time at a management consulting firm or in corporate strategy at a large company
  •  World-class written and verbal communication skills with experience writing executive-level communications and presentations
  •  Strong expertise in business strategy, strategic frameworks, qualitative and quantitative analysis
  •  Team player with great interpersonal skills; high EQ is a must
  •  Excellent organizational, multitasking and prioritizing skills
  •  Excessive attention to detail
  •  Minimum BBA required, MBA preferred
