ADP DataCloud is utilizing cutting edge technologies to collect, cleanse, analyze and understand data that transcends the +600k clients who utilize our products.

We are seeking motivated engineers to help design and develop big data applications, as well as the frameworks to enable development groups across the organizations to leverage the data, and practices used for Data Sciences and Machine Learning across the entire ADP portfolio.

The UX Designer will lead efforts to optimize current user experiences and create and test additional designs, features, and functionality for mobile, webpages, and web applications. The role encompasses developing experiences from user flows and wireframes through final UI design, including helping to write requirements for implementation. The UX Designer will work with our Sr. Researcher to create and execute user test plans, A/B tests, surveys, etc., and use data collected to inform future design decisions. They will also act as a liaison between the Product Owners and development teams to drive projects towards completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate daily with Sr. UX Designers, Product Managers and Engineers
  • Design and craft pixel-perfect interfaces with a high attention to detail
  • Create detailed UI specifications
  • Expand upon existing template designs, UI components, and style guidelines
  • Design with an awareness and understanding of browser sizes, device capabilities, and product functionality
  • Work closely with your developers to ensure your designs are built to your specifications
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Qualifications

  • You have 4+ years of experience creating modern responsive user interfaces across platforms and devices
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Interactive Design or similar concentration
  • Experience in the UX software product design field, with experience in B2C and B2B products
  • You have an online portfolio of existing work which include UI and UX work in both desktop and mobile experience
  • Experience with design software and wireframe tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Axure, or similar.
  • Must possess strong communication skills, be articulate, professional, and able to present design ideas to peers and stakeholders clearly
  • Good time-management skills and an ability to handle multiple projects in various stages of completion
  • You have knowledge of component based design principles and design patterns to create reusable a design system and pattern libraries
  • An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent multitasking skills
  • HFI or equivalent UX Certification a plus
  • HTML/ CSS/ JavaScript a plus but not required
