Limited relocation housing and/or miscellaneous allowance may be available for eligible candidates.

Corporate Quality Control - Global Network

This position will provide the opportunity to work directly with the QC Global Network across Amgen. Coaching, mentor-ship, and guidance will be provided to the intern as they engage in the following project:

This position will provide an opportunity for the candidate to learn the roles and responsibilities associated with the QC Global Network.
  • The candidate will assist with implementing a tool that demonstrates the QC Network's testing capabilities across all sites and will assist with implementation activities such as connecting analytical methods to their transfer, validation, and filing status at each required jurisdiction.This project would help support Business Continuity and Risk Management objectives.
  • The candidate will support the development of test Method Object Templates supporting product life-cycle management by designing, developing and validating method templates that will be used in a computer system for capturing of testing method information.


Basic Qualifications:

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergraduate internship or an undergraduate co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

  • 18 years or older
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
  • Completion of at least one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing
  • Enrolled in a full time Bachelor's program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university
  • Must not be employed at the time the internship starts


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree concentration in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering
  • Knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Basic understanding of computer programming and how to query information from electronic systems
  • Proven leadership experience on campus (e.g., projects, clubs, organizations, sports)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, project management, problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility and adaptability
  • Biotechnology, pharmaceutical or health care industry experience
