Job purpose
 
To have oversight of the purpose & status of all projects in Transport Program and to develop controls & governance model in the function.
 
Essential Requirement
  1. Take a proactive leadership style in ensuring that the overall project is on track from a plan, budget and scope
  2. Drive program level initiatives across sites or business units at various JPMC locations
  3. Interact with business sponsor to make sure that the project delivers the expected goals
  4. Support and collate data for presentations for steering committee and other governance body reviews
  5. Identify resource requirements with support from business partners
  6. Estimate financial impact and monitor program cost
  7. Forecast program performance and estimate variance to completion
  8. Research and resolve project issues as they arise, escalating as necessary
  9. Analyze and summarize findings across all regions where applicable  
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  1. Layout the project plan and maintain project tracker on the initiatives to drive efficiency
  2. Develop governance model with periodical connect will all location transport focal across location
  3. Support and collate data for presentations for steering committee and other governance body reviews
  4. Generate control mechanisms on the safety, security, compliance and billing
  5. Support on the transport budgeting process and review actual & justifications
  6. Business intelligence and benchmarking to help negotiate rates and contracts with transporters & service providers
  7. Define and implement KPIs to monitor and manage the vendor / driver performance
  8. Define and implement KPI’s to monitor the overall transport function
  9. Set up process for collection of the stakeholder feedback and corresponding action plan
  10. Develop and upgrade the process documents covering all activities of Transport function
  11. Collaborate with key stakeholder on the execution and completion of project on the initiatives
  12. Financial review and validation of monthly billing
Qualifications and skills
  1. 8 + years of exp - Preferably Six Sigma trained
  2. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and Senior Management
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business functions and processes swiftly
  4. Ability to adapt, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work and deliver results quickly
  5. Ability to work as part of a team in a multi-discipline environment and in a matrix organization
  6. Experience in cross-functional teams e.g. across change management, business and 3rd party vendors
  7. Intermediate or advanced level in all MS office applications including MS Visio, PowerPoint and Excel
