Our Consumer & Community Banking Group depends on innovators like you to serve nearly 66 million consumers and over 4 million small businesses, municipalities and non-profits. As a leader in your domain, you will drive our technology process and empowerment initiatives across all teams.  Working in partnership with the product teams, you will combine your years of proven expertise with a never-ending quest to modernize how organizations perform. Establishing a clear and transparent alignment and contribution to our client’s business priorities.

 

Championing all aspects of enhancing abilities, industry leading modern practices and processes, you’ll lead an extended team of highly inspired and inquisitive technologists on jointly establishing a pathway to greater agility, operating in a hybrid product/service model and removing obstacles and barriers that prevent our workforce from excelling. You will drive the adoption of these practices across the organization, with responsibility for execution and communication to executives, partners and clients.

 

Responsibilities Oversight:

  • Organizational Ability: Ability to apply organizational agility skills working with Senior Managers and technology practitioners.
  • Drive change: Disrupt the status quo and drive adoptions of new practices and behaviors.
  • Issue/Risk Management: Resolve issues through mediation and/or escalation to executive leadership.
  • Communications: Is an exceptional communicator, able to simplify technical complexity into business value.
  • Dealing with Ambiguity: Able to constantly make progress to program goals in the face of conflicting priorities.
  • Decision making: Accountable for all decisions related to the Strategy and Roadmap execution.
  • Project Planning and Tracking: Develops program / project structure to address situations not addressed by standard project approaches and methodologies.

This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • Expert knowledge in all business processes across an entire line of business, as well expertise in other lines of business and technology disciplines.
  • Understanding of global and line of business project and program management standards and methods.

  • Experience working with high-performing teams in complex program execution
  • A strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations.
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm.
  • Champion the organizational, initiative and product people abilities and process improvement strategy for all our Infrastructure and service teams. Successfully executing that strategy across the organization and deliver value to our clients.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of our strategy and our clients’ objectives to successfully drive initiatives, and influence and collaborate across your extended teams.
  • Introduce innovation and new concepts to proactively advance how you achieve your goals.
  • Employ agility, and large-scale scrum practices to adapt to your changing environment, supporting an open and transparent dialogue with your stake holders.
  • You will champion bureaucracy busting initiatives and actions, to simplify and streamline how work gets done maintaining an appropriate control framework. The role will require strong partnership with Infrastructure leadership and engineering, architecture, communication teams and a deep understanding of the objectives, key results and roadmaps within the organization.  Maintaining, always, a client obsessed mindset.
