Key Accountabilities

The M-Shop Technical Instructor team is responsible for all aspects of maintaining the safe and effective operation of our design and maker shop facilities and envisioning the future of these resources, this includes:
• Mentoring student project groups through all phases of project design, modeling, and creation
• Training and managing users and student employees on machine and software use mechanical design and analysis
• Collaborating with faculty and others to implement new capabilities and new project based curricular elements
• Hand's on work in the design, modification, creation of and/or revision to projects created in the Machine Shop
• Helping to inspire, train, and manage student staff
• Demonstrating a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness through actions, interactions, and communications with others.
