The Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) Metrics and Analytics team responsible for providing solutions for all of the CCOR functions to support the management frameworks within each function.  The central metrics and analytics team is tasked with designing, developing and implementing firmwide framework solutions that will enable the CCOR functions to effectively identify, monitor and escalate conduct risk and compliance issues for reporting to senior management and the Board.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with multiple teams/functions to design, develop and implement solutions enabling the effective identification, monitoring, and escalation of risks and issues
  • Conduct data analysis to support the implementation of new and/or enhancement existing metrics and analytics to monitor 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defense – clean, analyze, visualize, and summarize data sets
  • Design and support the development of dashboards, reports and tools - create mock-ups, user stories, JIRAs, and test scripts
  • Contribute to User Acceptance Testing activities by executing test scripts, documenting errors, and completing data validation
  • Document and present project progress, analysis results, and proposals to management, partners, and other key stakeholders
  • Assess the availability of source data to support metrics and reporting
  • Work closely with technology teams to communicate requirements, prioritize deliverables, and test and implement solutions
  • Lead or participate in other CCOR initiatives as a Business Analyst

  • Enjoys analyzing and understanding datasets
  • Pieces together various data from multiple sources to understand key information that can be used to create and/or enhance the design for firmwide framework solutions
  • Engages and partners with Technology and/or other stakeholders to define business requirements to deliver project solutions
  • Engages and partner with key stakeholders to ensure successful execution of program deliverables to reach target state
  • Leads working groups with stakeholders to effectively manage the governance framework, assessing impacts of risks and/or issues to critical work-streams.
  • Manages multiple project deliverables to ensure timely delivery

Required Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in large data projects or the Financial Services industry, specifically within Operational Risk, Finance, Business Management, Audit, Compliance or other controls related areas
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, MIS, Analytics or related field preferred)
  • Robust analytical and problem solving skills
  • Inquisitive nature and comfort challenging current practices
  • Exceptional critical thinking, project management, analytical and communication skills (e.g. communicate effectively at all levels of the organization)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnerships with functions and compliance partners
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask in a constantly changing environment
  • Results oriented, possess sense of urgency, resourcefulness and excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience analyzing data sets and producing summaries
  • Strong MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge or previous experience with configuring and/or coding business intelligence tools (e.g. Cognos, Qlikview, Tableau, R, Alteryx etc.)
  • Knowledge and/or prior experience with Conduct Risk or Compliance, a plus
