The Nephrology Strategy Senior Manager will report to the US Nephrology Strategy Director, with scope of responsibility spanning all aspects of the US commercial strategy. This position spans across multiple brands, including the highly successful launch brand Parsabiv and legendary brands Aranesp and Epogen. This offers an outstanding opportunity to drive strategy across a very diverse and high-value product portfolio. This individual will be responsible for driving the cross functional process toward the development of US brand strategy. The brand strategy serves as the foundational compass from which the you will ensure seamless execution of strategy across disciplines and development/tracking of key performance indicators to measure brand success at the strategic and tactical level. The Sr Manager will serve as the primary point for the Nephrology franchise in partnering with the Promotions team, Access team, CD&A, Finance, and other key functions to 1. analyze customer brand product utilization and market trends to identify further opportunities for growth/course correction, and 2. to integrate activities supporting key brand priorities to ensure maximum efficiency, performance, and ultimately customer delight.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and champion brand strategy for nephrology Brands, including development of the annual Local Product Strategy (LPS)
  • Ongoing collaboration across functions to ensure alignment with and pull-through of Brand strategy
  • Metric tracking and recommend optimization to strategy based on insights
  • Analysis of customer brand/competitor utilization
  • Integrate and track brand priorities across all functions
  • Support forecasting and long-range financial planning in collaboration with the Marketing lead and finance
  • Budget owner/tracking/cross functional allocation
  • Support field teams with marketing analytics and customer business reviews


Basic Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization


Or

  • Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization


Or

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization


Or

  • Associate's Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization


Or

  • High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in nephrology
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Outstanding cross functional/ team leadership and collaboration
  • Highly structured and strong ability to translate complex data/information into simple, actionable insights
  • Strong critical thinking
