Seeking Sr. Project Manager to support development and execution of Medical Strategy for Oncology Pipeline Medical Affairs Teams.

Responsibilities

Program Management

  • Lead annual development of cross-functional strategic plans, in consultation with key partners
  • Partner with other regional & cross-functional (eg, Commercialization teams) Senior Project Managers to ensure alignment of plans
  • Partner with regional medical teams to ensure alignment of Global & regional plans
  • Drive successful and timely completion of cross-functional deliverables
  • Lead goal setting and metrics development (and subsequent tracking) in partnership with team lead
  • Conduct annual budget planning with team lead; manage budget on periodic basis in partnership with budget management team
  • Contribute to team efficiency through facilitating chartering activities & resolution of team dynamic issues in partnership with team leads
  • Identify team and program risks and implement and manage mitigation plans as needed (eg, budget, timelines)
  • Drive effective decision making within the team, including communication of decisions to appropriate partners


Communication

  • Provide direction & mentorship to cross-functional team members to ensure global & regional alignment of strategy and deliverables
  • Communicate goal progress through dashboard updates


Team Operations

  • Manage cross-functional team meetings
  • Identify, advance, and monitor resolution of issues & action items
  • Support onboarding of new cross-functional team members
  • Manage platform for information-sharing

  • Program and project management expertise
  • Strong project management skills, proficiency in logistic planning from beginning to end, priority setting, deliver results on time and multi-tasking
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology
  • Ability to thrive in a high-performance culture
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management, decision making and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with ambiguity
  • Ability to apply research findings, gather information, interpret and analyze findings; develop and finally implement a logical and strategic plan of action
  • Ability to make recommendations to help achieve department goals
  • Ability to think critically, proactively anticipate problems and propose solutions
  • Ability to work effectively/collaboratively across teams, levels of management, across partnerships, demonstrate contact network to motivate diverse teams, and enable cross-functional collaborations
  • Ability to connect needs and information between functions to develop a deep understanding of the team and drive strategy and solve problems


Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience

OR

Master's degree and 4 years of Medical Affairs experience

OR

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Medical Affairs experience

OR

Associates degree and 10 years of Medical Affairs experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Medical Affairs experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA., Master's Degree
  • Project Management, operational and/or technical expertise in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Experience developing and executing (and improve if needed) a complex process
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical skills, ability to use work process, briefing and spreadsheet software
  • Proven excellence in managing multiple responsibilities, priorities and tasks with minimal direction
  • Proven excellence in operating in a matrixed or team environment
  • Successful at managing a high-volume of projects simultaneously while consistently delivering quality end-product
  • Excellence communicating and collaborating across various parts of the organization and at various management levels (Finance, R&D, Compliance)
  • Experience successfully leading teams in a matrix environment
