Responsibilities

As a member of our Media Strategy group, within the broader Paid Media team, this role is responsible for maintaining focus on 3 key pillars:


  • Long Term Corporate Strategy – Evaluating the changing finance landscape, identifying opportunity spaces, and ensuring JPMC is positioned to win in the future

  • Internal Consulting – partnering with JPMC’s lines of business to strategize for growth & performance

  • Innovation – cooperating with internal & external teams to enable JPMC to innovate around profound and actionable consumer insights



    Key Responsibilities At a Glance


  • Build relationships across the organization; trusted to consistently deliver the highest standards


  • Develop efficient and sustainable systems and processes to support the successful execution of long-range media plans; spearheading the automation of scalable solutions

  • Assist VP Strategy & Consumer Insight in development of new data use methodologies in all aspects of the firm’s operations: uncovering and substantiating business opportunities, segmenting audiences to optimize growth across lines of business, and substantiating effectiveness in partnership with the Analytics team

  • Evangelize audience and data driven marketing best practices within campaign testing and measurement framework

  • Be the voice of the consumer(s); own the insight mining practice within the group, utilizing the DMP to provide a comprehensive view of consumer behaviors and how they relate to competitive advantage for JPMC

  • Leverage channel, platform, and audience insights to help Brand team develop audience-led, impactful content strategies


  • Maintain forward looking perspective on the media and consumer data landscape, ensuring JPMC maintains and extends its competitive advantage


  • Drive integration and cohesion across all internal supporting teams through systematic partnership

     



Qualifications And Skills


  • 5-7 years of agency experience across a progression of levels in the field of online and offline media planning and/or buying as well as team leadership

  • Fluent user of media technology stack (i.e. Adobe Experience Cloud, Media Ocean, Doubleclick Campaign Manager, DV360, Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Twitter, etc.)

  • Specific technical knowledge of ad tech implementation, tagging infrastructure, and data onboarding preferred

  • Working experience creating, managing and tracking audiences in Adobe Audience Manager & Adobe Analytics

  • Deep knowledge of 3rd party data landscape, with experience evaluating and substantiating use of 3PD vs. 1PD and native buying platform capabilities

  • Working experience utilizing DSPs and Social buying platforms to derive insight and inform media strategy

  • Exemplary expertise across the full breadth of media touch points and broader media landscape

  • Experience navigating complex consumer journeys and marketing funnels

  • Proven track record around high value partnership development and ongoing relationship management

  • Financial-service category and/ or brand working in a highly-regulated category experience and/ or client-side / in-house experience preferred
