We have world-class cross-functional staff across the globe including sales and marketing, regional medical liaisons, oncology nurse specialists and customer account teams to ensure our discoveries go from bench to bedside.

The Sr Associate Oncology Cross Franchise Marketing -facilitates timely, transparent and accurate management of the business unit's $200M+ outside expense budget. Directly administers the Promotion budget and reconciles other product-related spend from other groups including Centers of Excellence, Corporate Communications and Value & Access. Responsibilities include planning FY budget, opening POs and paying invoices for multiple brand teams, forecasting expense targets quarterly, tracking spend towards target, and managing accruals. Coordinates between Finance, Accounts Payable, Marketing Managers, other budget coordinators, agencies and other key vendors. Primary liaison between Finance and Marketing from an outside expense perspective.

The candidate will be responsible for delivering support across all Oncology Cross Franchise Marketing functions, including:

1. Budget Management

2. Speaker Bureau Management

3. Congress Planning

4. Label Updates & Field Sponsorships

5. PO Generation and Sales & Marketing Communications

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of project management and/or budget management experience

OR

Associate's degree and 6 years of project management and/or budget management experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of project management and/or budget management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS degree or equivalent in finance, economics or related field
  • 3+ years of strategic budget management / corporate finance experience working closely with marketing departments, legal/regulatory
  • Experience defining budget goals and objectives with key internal clients, establishing, communicating and managing teams to timelines and financial targets
  • Working knowledge of accounting, product marketing, advertising, Sarbanes Oxley and relevant finance related regulations and corporate compliance standards
  • Competencies/Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent project management and coordination/collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team, excellent organizational and communication skills as well as responsiveness to coaching
  • Attention to details and quality
  • Autonomy to work independently with few instructions as well as know when to obtain direction
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Functional knowledge of SAP (incl self-service reporting) and Efinity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening

  • Leadership and initiative for process improvement
  • Ability to successfully prioritize a diverse workload to meet deadlines and client expectations
