Amgen is seeking a Senior Associate Business Systems Analyst to support our Finance and Budget function within the Enterprise Engineering and Analytics organization. The successful candidate should have training and experience in Agile methodology including working with Scrum Teams as a Scrum Master. Candidate should be familiar with the SDLC Software Development Lifecycle as a foundation for working with software development teams. A knowledge of business requirements gathering is helpful as well as risk analysis, issues management and scheduling and planning. This position will be based out of our Amgen Capability Center in Tampa, Florida.

The position is responsible for assuming the role of Scrum Master for three Scrum Teams. The scrum master will schedule and lead the Scrum Ceremonies, Backlog Grooming, Scrum Planning, Daily Stand Up Meetings, ensure JIRA board and stories are kept up to date by Scrum Team. Analyze the Capacity plan, Burn Down/Up charts and the scrum estimation plan and raise any risks with resources. Document risks and issues and ensure that teams issue a Maturity Scorecard Quarterly.

Basic Qualifications

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience in Information Systems

OR

Associate degree and 6 years of experience in Information Systems

OR

High School diploma / GED and 8 years of experience in Information Systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Training and experience in working as a Scrum Master using JIRA software is preferred.


  • Active Scrum Master certification is preferred but not required.
