As an Information Systems Project Manager, you will be based at Amgen's Capability Center in Tampa, Florida, leading technical and audit related projects as part of the Global Information Protection (GIP) team.

As an Information Systems Project Manager, you will lead projects and be accountable for developing and reporting periodic project and financial indicators relating to project objectives, risks, costs and trends. You will apply both Agile and standard project management methodologies in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Project management experience using a diverse set of methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps)
  • Possesses solid understanding of traditional project management methodologies and tools
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, works effectively under minimal supervision and places priority on the successful completion of team goals
  • Experience leading all aspects of projects - scope management, schedule management, resource management, financial management, and risk and issue management
  • Works successfully in ambiguous scenarios, thinks holistically, collects, digests and assembles information to enable meaningful business analyses and decision-making
  • Possesses learning, technical agility, and can breakdown topics/issues into actionable plans for team execution
  • Develops innovative ways to introduce change across a diverse organization
  • Good communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills
  • Partners with technical leads to identify key work products, ensure cross-functional alignment, and execute plans to meet project goals
  • Champions collaboration and works effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Manages contending timelines and prioritizes critical tasks


Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Information Systems and/or Project Management experience

OR

Associate's degree and 6 years of Information Systems and/or Project Management experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Systems and/or Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years project management experience leading technical projects or programs
  • Scrum master experience
  • Experience operating in a GxP validated environment
  • Cyber security and Bio-Pharmaceutical technology environment experience highly advantageous
  • Seeks to develop, implement, and sustain operational scripts, data structures, libraries and programming code that optimize security in emergent compute patterns with diverse applications throughout the global environment.
  • Contributes to the analysis, design, development and operation of programs, shell scripts, tests, and infrastructure automation capabilities in an advanced security context
