  • ​​This job is a member of the Flight Services Team within the Customer Experience Division.
  • Responsible for formatting, editing, and maintaining the FAA accepted Flight Service Inflight Manual (IFM) and associated Flight Service publications.
What you'll do
  • Maintain, edit and revise Flight Service Inflight Manual (IFM), and Onboard Emergency Checklists (OEC)
  • Maintain archives for all manual publications, research and provide documentation to legal as required 
  • Edit and publish revisions to Onboard Announcement PA Card
  • Maintain Foreign Language PA Translations
  • Interface with Flight Operations, Airport Customer Service, Engineering, Flight Service Training, Aircraft Appearance, and Marketing to ensure manual content is aligned with other department procedures and processes
  • Act as an Administrator for Comply 365 manual applications
  • Assist with preparing mandatory requirements for induction of all new aircraft
  • Communicate changes and updates with the Flight Attendant work force  
  • Assists with internal and external audits and record keeping associated with audits
  • In collaboration with subject matter experts drafts safety and regulatory communications
  • Provides updates for Jetnet website to web master to maintain all flight service safety, regulatory, security and service content
  • Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience working with technical manual publications

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Knowledge of and experience with Flight Service procedures
  • Working knowledge of FARs, with ability to interpret and apply regulations to procedures
  • Strong analytical skills for research and data collection
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple, concurrent projects and meet strict deadlines while balancing workload with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software; knowledge of Adobe Framemaker, Illustrator software and Pro-Author
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, employees, government agencies and outside vendors
