About The Job

This job is a member of the Learning & Development Team within the People/HR Division. Responsible for needs analysis and then project management support through solution development. This role collaborates closely with peers, business leaders, senior management, our corporate university, and vendor partners. 

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Conducts needs analysis based on clarifying learning objectives, a holistic view of the learning landscape, best practices in learning, and cost/ benefit analysis, resulting in an optimized training recommendation
  • Manages Learning and Development projects from initiation to completion
  • Maintains records for proper reporting as well as creating and executing measurement plans on appropriate learning solutions
  • Onboards new business units through explanations/demonstrations of the capabilities and benefits of utilizing the LMS and/or developing learning using our in-house or vendor instructional design, programming or graphic artist resources
  • Represents the needs of the business unit within Learning and Development
  • Advocates for the needs of the learner
  • Aids business units in finding, contracting with and managing vendors where appropriate

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years of relevant experience

    • Learning or business degree
    • Prior experience within a learning/training organization
    • Prior experience in sales, business development or client development
    • Experience as an internal consultant
    • Operational experience
    • Ability to anticipate and handle problems or incidents before they become major issues; exceptional project management skills
    • Ability to be energetic, forward-thinking and implementation focused
    • Ability to maintain confidential information
    • Ability to work comfortably in a team-based environment; collaborates with diverse individuals and groups; consistently displays a readiness and willingness to share knowledge; is open to different perspectives and to building consensus
    • Ability to build, develop, and maintain key relationships/partnerships
    • Ability to manage multiple, large scale projects with competing deadlines
