About The Job

This job is a member of the Finance Team within the Finance Division. This position will be responsible for preparing schedules, reviewing reports and posting journal entries in connection with the Company’s Fixed Assets process.

 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Performs basic accounting functions associated with the Fixed Assets Process
  • Researches and resolves accounting discrepancies in a timely manner, including correspondence with external contacts, when necessary
  • Completes data entry of accounting information
  • Edits/audits transactions on a recurring basis
  • Performs a variety of other functions/ad-hoc projects as assigned by the immediate supervisor/manager to aid in the department's/company's achievement of goals and business objectives

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency or equivalent experience/training
  • 1 year accounting experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with general accounting principles/procedures
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work as a team player in a high stress environment
