• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
• Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
• Experience as a developer, preferably in the financial industry.
• Java Serverside development expertise designing and building applications/ RESTful services.
• Experience working with open source frameworks such as Spring framework, Spring Boot.
• Experience with RDBMS and/or NoSQL database systems such as Cassandra, Mongo.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools and techniques.
• Exposure to Behavior driven development (BDD), Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Demonstrated drive and ability to learn new technologies.
• Desirable - Experience building and supporting large scale, resilient, high-throughput applications in the Cloud.
• Desirable – Exposure to Big Data technologies such as Spark, HBase, Hive
• Full stack application development experience is a plus.
• Python, Scala experience is a plus
• Android and/or iOS development a plus
