About The Job

The Customs Service Representative will support the Manager and Analysts of Customs as directed. 

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

  • Perform day to day recordkeeping
  • Review and build new files for customs entries to ensure AA meets Customs Border protection (CBP) requirements which are governed by the Code of Federal Regulations, 19 CFR
  • Interface with, but not limited to, all internal departments who import/export products, disbursements, purchasing, etc. and external customs brokers to obtain data for recordkeeping reviews.
  • Responsibilities include: data entry, filing, invoice payment processing, auditing records, data management, archiving and other clerical duties.

Required Qualifications

  • Candidate must be detail oriented, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have proficient computer skills in Access, Excel, and Word. Experience in SABRE, DECS, IMS, AAPICS, SAP Parts 360 and IPayables highly desired
  • Candidate should be a self-starter with a high sense of urgency, strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task


Preferred Qualifications

  • Some experience or knowledge of U.S. customs regulations is preferred
  • High school diploma required; Some college or degree preferred
