  • ​This job is a member of the Flight Training Team within the Integrated Operations Division.
  • Responsible for coordination of, design, develop, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of non-aircraft specific pilot training courses.
What you'll do
  • Oversees recruitment, hiring, training and daily activities of Flight Crew Training Instructors (FCTI)
  • Assist Sr. Manager, Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) with administration of Instructional System Design (ISD) process
  • Collaborates with internal departments (e.g.: Flight Operations, Flight Service, Dispatch Operations, Pilot Records, Training Scheduling, Safety, etc.), external agencies (e.g. FAA, DOD, TSA, IATA, etc.), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure the quality, efficiency, relevancy and regulatory compliance of non-aircraft specific training programs
  • Monitors daily operations of non-aircraft specific training programs
  • Coordinates with Flight Service and Dispatch on joint curriculum development and delivery
  • Coordinates standardization of training materials, delivery, devices and facilities

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience/training
  • 5 years job related experience
  • Sufficient experience to comprehend commercial aircraft systems, operational procedures, flight maneuvers, and line operations
  • Project management experience
  • Background in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • FAA Pilot or Dispatcher Certificate
  • Master’s degree in relevant field
  • 5 Years of aviation training or safety experience or equivalent experience
  • Flexibility with work schedule
  • Ability/Willingness to travel
  • Technical aviation experience in FAR Part 121/135 or military operations

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • ​Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in caring for team members
  • Exceptional aptitude for task analysis, reasoning, fact-finding, prioritization, decision making and problem solving
  • Ability to motivate and develop employees
  • Ability to supervise and motivate employees
  • Professional presentation skills
