Amgen is seeking a Senior Associate, Raw Materials Analysis to join our team and work from Amgen's beautiful Thousand Oaks, CA campus. To learn more:

The Senior Associate will be a key member of a team responsible for developing and qualifying analytical methods for the analysis of raw materials used to manufacture Amgen's biotherapeutics.

Day to Day Duties:

Executing experiments to develop and qualify analytical methods for raw materials

Responsibilities:

Executing experiments to develop and qualify analytical methods including identification, purity, impurities methods for raw materials

Designing experiments under supervision

Authoring methods and method development reports under supervision

Participating in method transfer and validation under supervision

Providing concise and effective communication to team members, management, and stake-holders

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree

Or

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Scientific experience

Desired Qualifications:

Technical experience and expertise: expertise and direct experience with analytical techniques, assay development. Knowledge and experience in raw materials analysis a plus, knowledge in compendial methods a plus, knowledge in biotechnology a plus, graduate degree in Analytical chemistry/organic chemistry/life science or similar disciplines a plus.
