We are seeking a key member of the Contract Development team in U.S. Value & Access. This Senior Associate position is a dual Contract Administration/System Administration role.

Contract Administration Components: Responsible for contract management of key Provider and/or Payor customer contracts from request to execution, managing contract data for owned accounts in our contract lifecycle management (CLM) database ("Conga") and providing support to Contract Development personnel and processes.

Responsibilities include:
  • Participation in the document management process, ongoing interaction with several cross-functional groups, including Legal, Government Programs, Pricing and Contract Operations; merging customer data into approved templates; writing and editing agreements, amendments, letters and other contract documents; project managing document rollouts, participating in planned and ad-hoc special projects within U.S. Value & Access, and; researching and producing contract documents in support of internal and external audits and litigation.
  • Position also involves reporting activities and metrics to supervising Manager, handling customer document files, folders and templates, conducting document review meetings, communicating document status to partners and certifying that key process controls have been met.


System Administration Components:

Assists with:
  • Configuration of software on an ongoing basis to adjust for user-specific purposes, including ad hoc resolution for functional process improvements, consistency shore-ups and day-to-day user base requests
  • Providing user training on an individual and segment-specific basis
  • Resolving all internal issues, calling out bugs and support issues to Conga Support as necessary
  • Reviewing & testing new functionality
  • System configuration to ensure seamless data gathering for Audits and Litigation

Position operates within a multifaceted environment, and the ideal candidate will possess the ability to take initiative, problem-solve, work independently and exercise appropriate business judgment. Essential activities involve ensuring discount process is in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley policies, ensuring the accuracy of data in the CLM software and ensuring that error-free, high quality documents are executed and distributed. Interaction and strong communication with cross-functional teams is crucial.

No travel required.

Basic Qualifications

Master's degree

OR

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of commercial contracting, sales operations, finance and/or analytics experience

OR

Associate's degree and 6 years of commercial contracting, sales operations, finance and/or analytics experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of commercial contracting, sales operations, finance and/or analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Very strong computer configuration and data background
  • MS Office and other platform proficiency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Self-motivates and leads a project from inception to completion
  • Can effectively articulate and synthesize information to attendees with some managerial support
  • Teammate, looks for ways to support team members
  • Customer service focused
  • Strong project management skills and leads projects as the need arises
  • Provides analyses and recommendations to support decisions by team management
  • Document drafting experience (preferably in a dynamic environment, e.g. consulting firms, biotech, tech companies, etc.) preferred
  • Knowledge of the basic types of commercial agreement structures and the function and purpose of key legal terms (i.e., indemnification, limitation of liability, warranties, intellectual property, data rights, confidentiality etc.)
