Job Description

Manage TESS projects, while ensuring project goals, timelines and success criteria are met. This position will be an integrated part of the TESS project team. 


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates project scope, planning and execution activities across multiple TESS functional and cross-functional teams
  • Manages project risks, issues, changes and actions
  • Collaborates with IT Agile development teams for the creation of products
  • Facilitates the establishment of a product vision and roadmap for the Supply Chain Area
  • Describes Supply Chain product features as user stories, and provides user story acceptance criteria
  • Works with delivery teams to prioritize and groom backlogs
  • Ensures the right functionality gets built at the right time
  • Steers the project team by prioritizing continuously to ensure the vision is met
  • Monitors and facilitates the release progress
  • Coordinates User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and provides product feature feedback as often as reasonable
  • Works with TESS Business Leads to coordinate the development and delivery of training materials
  • Provides project updates to numerous audiences, including TESS Leaders
  • This position requires physical presence at our Royal Ridge location in DFW. This position is not approved for relocation assistance - candidates who are not living in the DFW area will be required to travel weekly to work at Royal Ridge.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Unique to Division

  • Must have previous experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Production Scheduling, or Finance operations
  • Ability to analyze business processes, manuals, and training to ensure effective and efficient end-state processes and systems
  • Develop business cases and provide cost / benefit analyses for various initiatives
  • Proactively manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to effectively interpret data requests and provide direction to user groups
  • Critical thinker with the ability to see business implications of strategic initiatives
  • Self-starter who can clearly understand the business issues and find creative solutions
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks for Airport Security Identification Display Areas (SIDA Badge requirement)

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years of Project Management experience, as a direct Project Manager or collaborating with Project Teams OR 5 years’ experience in the Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Production Scheduling or Finance operations
  • Must be able to travel


Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly available, empowered and understands the business need
  • Understand Tech Ops product users and customers, specifically in Supply Chain
  • Working knowledge of SCEPTRE System


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Solid knowledge of Project Management frameworks, principles, processes and tools
  • Proven Project Management abilities leading cross-functional projects
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and drive projects to completion
  • Ability to collaborate with Tech Ops business and Agile delivery teams while managing Tech Ops stakeholder expectations
  • Experience with (or exposure to) software development methodologies in Agile Environments
  • Ability to influence end user adoption of new UIs and supporting business processes
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Strong presentation creation and delivery skills
  • Ability to comfortably and persuasively interact with personnel of all levels
