Job Summary

Amgen is seeking a talented Security Manager: Crisis Management with experience in sustaining and administering Global Crisis Management programs.

Responsibilities :
  • Client facing role and will assist others in developing Crisis Management plans for their areas of responsibility
  • Developing and administering tools that enable Crisis Management programs to succeed
  • Facilitate Crisis Management response
  • Collect and report on program metrics
  • Provides client training
  • Work as part of team that quickly adapts and responds to situations that impact Amgen


Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree and 2 years of Crisis / Event Management experience

OR

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Crisis / Event Management experience

OR

Associate's degree and 10 years of Crisis / Event Management experience

OR

High School diploma / GED and 12 years of Crisis / Event Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership skills, including ability to manage diverse cross-functional teams

Strong knowledge and breadth of Crisis / Event Management programs

Ability to identify and use tools that will provides simplicity and consistency across the organization

Ability to interact, influence, and build relationships with all levels of staff, management, and executives

Ability to understand, balance, and articulate both tactical and strategic planning issues

Strong quantitative, analytical (technical and business) and problem-solving skills

Persistent, tactful, and persuasive team and project leadership, including conflict resolution and negotiation skills

Ability to prioritize across multiple projects and handle diverse assignments simultaneously

Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and manage stakeholders / participants in fast-paced situations
