The Digital Platforms team within Consumer and Business Banking focuses on initiatives across all the lines of business within J.P. Morgan Chase. The group consists of product managers who work closely with many lines of businesses (e.g., Card Services, Retail Banking and Home & Auto Lending), developers, interactive designers, marketers, and project support and operations staff.


Chase is seeking a highly effective and innovative Digital Product Manager to work on the rapidly growing product development space of the chase.com public site with an eye on new account originations & customer engagement.  In this role, the candidate will work on delivering marketing functionality at scale, leveraging internal & external tools & partnerships. This individual will have to quickly understand business’ unique needs and apply his/her expertise to help the business drive to a solution that meets business objectives. He/she will then collaborate with engineering product owners to see through the execution and product development lifecycle. The individual will work closely with business, technology, and third party vendors, and manage an ever evolving roadmap. If successful, these products provide added value to the business unit, J.P. Morgan Chase as a whole, and most importantly, delivering a better banking experience to our customers.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Serve as a cross-functional leader to collaborate with design, engineering and marketing teams to drive new marketing product initiatives

  • Develop products and services that deliver innovative experiences and at the same time reduce friction from the banking process;

  • Define new product features, working collaboratively with business and engineering teams across Chase to ensure a unified product landscape;

  • Intake, maintain, and prioritize a backlog of project work from a wide range of sources, to efficiently deliver for the channel.  Provide clear vision and scope, use cases, workflows, wire-frames, and product requirements to support development;

  • Create clear product epics and requirements that are easily understood by business and engineering partners and then validate delivery against those requirements, owning the work from start to finish;

  • Help define product initiatives for new features and optimizations of existing ones, and incorporate them into product roadmaps and backlog;

  • Understand, manage, and communicate prioritization of features, with a mind toward customer and business benefits

  • Lead objectives across a complex ecosystem across multiple scrum teams, environments, QA, designers, and editorial for on-time delivery;

  • Track and manage metrics and financial planning ensuring that products deliver on time and on budget;

  • Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives;

  • Track and analyze metrics compared to industry benchmarks, publish reports on product performance, trends and risks/opportunities for both short and long term;

  • Work with existing vendors; perform new vendor analysis (e.g., proof of concepts), on-boarding process, managing relationships, negotiations, and managing product integration requirements;

  • Support and maintain product documentation & guidance

  • Maintain, evolve, and communicate best practices and lessons learned. Apply learning to improve process and delivery of marketing solutions.




  • Must be proactive, results driven and have a proven track record of execution

  • Must be a self-starter & detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects across varying timelines concurrently

  • Ability to prioritize projects and efforts according to business need and industry trends;

  • Ability to influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions;

  • Experience with bringing together cross functional teams and leading execution in an agile delivery model;

  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills;

  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under intense pressure;

  • Ability to demonstrate deep knowledge of development lifecycle - agile is a plus

  • 5 years experience related to web and mobile product development

  • Strong knowledge of current digital banking trends

  • Ability to build high-level mocks for concept sharing for prototype phase

  • Demonstrate people management and team-building skills

  • Strong written and presentation skills

  • Analytical with a focus on KPI’s and measurement

  • Experience with Adobe AEM preferred

  • Experience with multivariate testing preferred

  • Financial services preferred but not required

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field required - BS or MS in Business Management, Engineering, or comparable field of study
