This position works closely with sales, development, and marketing to identify, assess, and scope change initiatives that improve use for all users. As Salesforce Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the design and development of sales and customer service transformation projects that improve operational efficiency.

This is a hands-on role, you will lead cross-functional teams through the entire project lifecycle, from strategy and visioning to design, implementation and post-implementation support, carrying responsibilities across business and technical work streams. You must have exceptional resource management and prioritization skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Overall you will lead various enhancement projects, providing hands-on support and oversight on complex architecture, design, development, and integration for all things Salesforce.

Essential Duties:

  • Drive technical design and implementation for all Salesforce projects.
  • Leads technical requirements gathering/ discovery with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, requirements and key performance indicators.
  • Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage Salesforce platform and provide a high level of scalability
  • Prepare solution documentation to include business requirements, functional specifications and technical designs that communicate architectural components, associated logic, triggers, data flows and user interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot system problems through resolution.
  • Create and maintain a Salesforce Roadmap; responsible for prioritizing Salesforce initiatives for the organization in conjunction with senior leadership.
  • Assist with Salesforce platform management tasks such as release review, app evaluation, data archiving, sandbox management, license management, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of demonstrated technology experience in an enterprise environment
  • Mastery level of functional capabilities of Salesforce.com Platform/Products with in-depth knowledge of Sales and Service Cloud capabilities and configurations, release management and deployment and implementation best practices
  • Demonstrates excellence in understanding complex business processes and ability to make business process modification suggestions to align with Salesforce best practices
  • Proficiency in environment maintenance tasks such as managing admin access, managing sandboxes, handling confidential data, Single Sign On, Certificate & Key Management,
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce configuration including but not limited to page layouts, roles, profiles, custom objects, workflow rules, process builder, flows, sharing rules, etc.
  • Strategic thinking and vision, with demonstrable experience translating concepts and ideas into solutions that yield successful results.
  • Experienced in Agile development methodology and Scrum framework preferred
  • Experience with call center management, computer telephony, field service operations and the key operational metrics and performance indicators used to manage a Customer Service environment is a plus

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in IT, CS or related discipline
  • Minimum 5-7 years Salesforce administration experience required with a strong understanding of SFDC best practices and functionality
  • Salesforce Administrator or related Certification(s):

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a SalesForce Administration role
