The sales representative is responsible for managing the airport accounts in IL, IN and Northern Kentucky to maximize sales opportunities, territory revenue and profit targets. The mission of the sales representative is to execute the team-based sales approach to achieve sales and gross margin targets.

. Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work directly with airport customers to determine their current fleet and future needs
  • Create and maintain a customer data base in CRM
  • Develop a five-year forecast and customer equipment budgets using CRM tool
  • Participate in industry trade shows
  • Communicate market needs and trends to senior management
  • Provide customer service to existing customer base
  • Monitor and evaluate activities of the competition
  • Consistently manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • 90% travel within assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience in heavy equipment/commercial vehicles/heavy equipment parts.
  • Bachelors degree
  • Class A or Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or ability to obtain a CDL
  • Computer experience in Microsoft Office
  • Qualified candidates must live within the assigned territory
