Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Manage all aspects of vendor credentialing for direct and distributor personnel with heavy oral and written correspondence. Independently uses judgment to oversee and provide direction with respect to credentialing procedures and policies, and makes adjustments as needed. Support Aesculap sales compensation process with key responsibility to manage attainment of individual plans and communicate status to all participants.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Collaborate with legal, Sales, Compliance and training managers to establish new and revised credentialing policies.
  • Responsible for maintenance and payment of vendor credentialing 3rd party contracts
  • Evaluate Credentialing solutions in the market place and make business recommendations that drive efficiency while remaining within budget.
  • Manage Aesculap credentialing process in the US, Germany and Canadian accounts across several several credentialing software sites for 400+ participants.
  • Maintain and monitor required documents for vendor credentialing and hospital access.
  • Responsible for insuring all policies and protocol for vendor credentialing are communicated and complied
  • Maintain budget of vendor credentialing costs and drive cost conscious measures
  • Prepare vendor credentialing document contents regarding Annual Training, Drug Screen, Background check and Product Competency
  • Work with Human Resources and Sales Operations to ensure all employees are properly credentialed to represent the organization
  • Maintain $2000,000 vendor credentialing budget to ensure cost containment
  • Pay vendor registrations and renewal fees for Aesculap employees
  • Create and terminate employee credentialing accounts as necessary
  • Maintain 10+ vendor credentialing websites
  • Lead the Sales Operations portion of on-boarding new sales reps. Educate them on business processes, key contacts and resources as well as build the partnership relationship as their corporate resource for general business processes
  • Manage the Business associate field engagement process.
  • Manage and support requests from Customers with respect to information they require from suppliers
  • Assist in annual sales compensation process. Manage distribution of plans and quarterly/year end communication of achievement.
  • Participate in special projects as needed with the focus to drive efficiency in existing processes
  • Work on other projects for the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations as requested.
  • Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in Quality Manual
  • Must embody the Company's Vision, Mission and Values
  • Other duties may be assigned

Secondary or peripheral job functions:

  • Provide necessary backup support for other Sales Operations team members
  • Perform classroom training for all new hire personnel regarding vendor credentialing
  • Become proficient in com and incorporate into job role
  • Must be available for domestic travel including nights/weekends.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Qualifications

Expertise: Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc

  • BS/BA (business preferred)
  • Requires one to two years prior experience in implementing service contracting services
  • Project management expertise, certification desired
  • Requires previous experience in working with 3rd party contractual agreements.
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Lotus Notes and other software programs.
  • SAP experience desirable
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication, organizational, interpersonal and planning skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
