Position Purpose

Manage capabilities and workload to achieve the most effective utilisation of ADP's Implementation teams and determine resourcing needs based on each projects requirements. Ensuring engagement and quality of available resources in order to deliver high quality and consistent services to all new and/or existing clients across multiple market segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage the resources management plan and Implementation & Consulting Dashboard;
  • Forecast resource demand and requirements for the organisation, through engagement with the Sales team and monitoring of the Sales Pipeline;
  • Identify risk areas through monitoring, reviewing and reporting;
  • Manage and track sales orders and resources to facilitate faster implementations, increased client satisfaction and reduced costs of implementations;
  • Monitor and ensure all Project Managers and Implementation Consultants comply to scheduling standards;
  • Identify, allocate and deploy project resources based on resource capacity and capability across all client projects (in consultation with ADP stakeholders).
  • Identify resource gaps and work with multiple teams to ensure resource coverage is achieved;
  • Use tools and techniques to support project scheduling and project time management, e.g. MS Project Server and/or Salesforce, Siebel, or PlanView;
  • Raise schedule related issues and risks with Implementation Director;
  • Provide ad-hoc and regular reports on implementation and consulting resourcing, progress and master schedule status;
  • Conduct analysis and report on combined project managers' and Implementation Consultant status reports /schedules including slippage and variances;
  • Ensure relevant Implementation checklists/documentation are kept up to date for Sales & Relationship Management associates;
  • Work closely with all parts of the ADP business, specifically Sales, Relationship Management and MS Service, to identify and deliver any key process/document improvements;
  • Understand all ADP products and appropriate handling of sales orders in order to verify and ensure that only compatible product features/hardware have been sold to clients;
  • Maintain and report on Backlog, ESI metrics and other efficiency measures;
  • Effectively manage revenue management system within Implementation, including reporting for the weekly review and coordination meeting.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a complex operational/ consulting/ implementation/ service delivery environment;
  • Previous experience of managing resource and capability supply within professional services sector;
  • Proven capability in relationship building, business partnering and conflict resolution in high pressure and demanding situations requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of payroll/HR would be an advantage;
  • Detailed understanding of Implementation and Project Management methodologies and resource management tools;
  • Detailed understanding of Sales and backlog policies and procedures;
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels, including senior management team level, and demonstrate personal integrity and professional authority in all dealings with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications / Certifications

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree and PMP or equivalent project management certification
