The Quality Manager, located in Leland, NC, is responsible for monitoring, inspecting and auditing the quality of all manufactured goods to make sure they meet specified standards. They work to not only find defective product, but also to find the cause of the defect and develop a solution.

Responsibilities
    • Provide and maintain a safe work environment by participating in safety programs, committees, conducting safety audits, and complying with all plant safety and environmental policies and procedures
    • Follow all company policies and procedures pertaining to ISO 22716€” Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) guidelines for cosmetics.
    • Coordinate and monitor production processes to ensure compliance to ISO and other applicable regulatory requirements
    • Analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
    • Coordinate GMP audits and handle all audit checklists and follow-up requirements
    • Develop and execute quality and risk management plans to ensure provisions for quality are addressed and resolved prior to release
    • Review, approve and develop product verification and validation plans and respective test methods.
    • Support validation efforts of approved testing to assure compliance
    • Participate in complaint investigations, failure analysis of returned products, and issues resulting in a stop ship/stop production; document findings, provide reports and analysis, & document health risk assessment
    • Write, review and approve necessary SOPs


Qualifications
    • BS degree in Engineering or Science-related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 8 years of proven work experience in quality management
    • Knowledge of ISO and other recognized international quality system standards
    • Knowledge of FDA requirements and GMP requirements
    • Knowledge of Ability to write technical reports, business correspondence, technical procedures, as well as, administrative procedures.
    • Excellent technical and training skills
    • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
    • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
