This role is responsible for the overall scheduling of projects including creating, updating and communicating schedules from proposal to completion. This individual will work with individuals across departments to monitor resource usage and work distribution based on project plans and projected need. As required, this individual will be responsible for creating work breakdown structures for both internal and external clients, baseline project schedules, and perform periodic updates and adjustments to project schedules.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Independently interprets and reads detailed construction drawings with ability to have clear understanding of project scope and requirements.
  • Works with other departments to understand the clients project scope, budget and schedule.
  • Creates, maintains, and reviews all facets of project scheduling including critical path, cost loading, resource loading of billable hours, schedule content, recovery schedules, use of logic relationship lags, constraints, and milestones.
  • Works with project management team to create and maintain project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilizes scheduling software including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to provide scheduling services on projects.
  • Creates and utilizes work breakdown schedules to develop and analyze project schedules.
  • Reports and creates trend analysis utilizing reporting tools for internal and external customers.
  • Performs Schedule Risk Analysis as needed.
  • Analyzes periodic updates and provides assessment of critical path progress relative to the baseline as well as identify trends that would affect project progress.
  • Verifies schedule integrity throughout project life cycle and evaluate logic and float paths.
  • Verifies all contractor scheduling and adjusts schedule based on project needs and potential scope changes.
  • Maintains and documents all scope and plan changes, trends, and variances that potentially effect project schedule.
  • Prepares reports to communicate schedule, status and changes to Project Management team, subcontractors, and/or clients.
  • Perform other duties as required/directed.
