Job Summary

As a Project Mgr, you will be the responsible partner for the MuleSoft Platform team, Center for Enablement team and internal business partners to understand their processes, develop detailed project plans and the Platform roadmap. The Scrum Master serves as a strategic partner to the Product Team in the DevOps processes for the MuleSoft Platform. Top candidates will have excellent project management and problem-solving skills. Training and experience in Agile methodology is preferred.

The Project Mgr will report to the Dir Information Systems, Enterprise Platforms & Corporate Functions based at Amgen's Capability Center in Tampa, FL. This state-of-the-art center serves as a base for finance, information systems, and human resources professionals to make a significant impact at one of the world's leading biotechnology companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Applies project management skills in an agile way, standard methodologies in the development, planning, execution, control and closing of projects
  • Coordinates the establishment and execution of project plans and other project governance processes and procedures
  • Leads project delivery: develops and handles the MuleSoft roadmap, track breakthroughs and provide status updates
  • Leads product backlog, working closely with Product Team owner to ensure priorities are met
  • Identifies and advances risks and issues to the MuleSoft Product Team owner
  • Implement standard methodologies for Agile Project Management, serves an Agile scrum master
  • Assists in developing Product Team's work (set agendas, build minutes, maintain decision logs)
  • Supports partnership efficiency at Product Team level
  • Optimally applies the decision-making framework (DAI) and engages interpersonal expertise in plan development
  • Enables effective team dynamics and develops and shares standard methodologies
  • Maintains budgetary responsibility of projects


Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Associate's degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven skills in team leadership and communication
  • Training and experience in Agile methodology
  • Experience in DevOps
  • Knowledge in MuleSoft software
  • Knowledge of JIRA agile pm tool
  • Strong program/project management skills within a diverse toolset of methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum) including risk mitigation strategies
  • Have solid business insight and an ability to handle multiple priorities and to build a strong network and relationships up to the executive levels across IT functions and the business.
  • Possess strong learning agility and technical leadership - ability to breakdown complex topics issues and into actionable plans for team execution
  • Experience leading change in a complex, matrix organization
  • Knowledge of Integration technologies like MuleSoft, Biztalk, Akana
