ADP is hiring a Project Manager In this position you will manage key ADP Real Estate and MEP projects. Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for Senior Director of Engineering and Project Management regarding status of project. You will also work directly with ADP's Business Unit Leaders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy and closeout.
  • Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply standard to complex documents affecting real estate and MEP projects, including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys and drawings.
  • Interfaces directly with clients to define project requirements. Prepares scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, cash flow, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Identifies project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process; conducts standard to complex request for proposals; completes bid analysis; leads evaluation interviews, recommends resources to clients.
  • Leads project delivery resources/team (typically larger more experienced team) providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
  • Implements communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed. Facilitates project meetings.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated.
  • Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Creates action plans to meet objectives, budget and schedule.
  • Implements change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality and risk.
  • Demonstrates ability to identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Demonstrates a knowledge of projects & project management within the context of business results (business case, larger economic implications, business risk, etc).
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel will be required. 1-2 weeks per month at times in different project locations will be expected.
 QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Construction Project Management.
  • Excellent understanding of the Construction Building Codes
  • Accomplished with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Handle multiple complex projects at once.
  • Must have excellent analytical skills.
  • Proven working experience in project management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred by not required; however an individual is expected to actively pursue achievement of a certification through the tenure with the role.
