Project Coordinator TWC Grants (Part-Time)

Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop and monitor appropriate reporting instruments.
  • Prepare monthly financial billing and interim ad hoc reports both internal and external pending specific funding agent.
  • Maintain and monitor budgets and ordering of equipment of the project partner(s) and for which the total budget is less than $400,000.
  • Organize and/or create training courses as specified by the scope of the grant, working with all internal offices and external partner(s) as necessary to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
  • Work with partner to develop sound collegiate relationships to fulfill grant requirements.
  • Monitor reporting of partner and ensure compliance with scope of grant requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage day to day tasks necessary to successfully meet project objectives.
  • Coordinate development and dissemination of grant related materials, project information, products, services.
  • Create as necessary and oversee activities to ensure project timeliness are set and achieved.


Additional Job Functions:
  • Interact directly with industry/education partner(s) and funding agency representatives.
  • Work with Office of Grants Management to ensure financial compliance and budget monitoring.
  • Analyze and prepare end of quarter and end of activity reports.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholder(s) to ensure quality instructional experiences and address training issues and resolve them as they arise.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Sound working knowledge of computing systems and software
  • Team player/leader; cooperative orientation
  • High priority on customer service
  • Project management, fiscal and narrative grant reporting; ability to conceptualize
  • Efficient, detail oriented and self started that can work with minimal supervision
  • Deadline oriented - must meet deadlines based on both internal and external funder requirements


Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, training, management or project related field


Preferred Education:
  • Master's degree


Required Experience:

Two years experience in each of the following:
  • Successful grant management/administration and/or
  • Budgeting/fiscal management


  • Preferred Experience:
    • Knowledge of state, federal and /or local funding guidelines and College procedures and policies; experience with educational and/or training programs in field of specific grant; successful grant writing and fund acquisitions.


    Salary Grade: $24/hr
