Project Coordinator, DOL Scaling Apprenticeship Training (Grant Funded) - Central Campus

Essential Job Functions:
  • Coordinate and manage day to day tasks necessary to successfully meet project deliverables
  • With Director: monitor expenditures, budget, and inventory for SJCCD and project partners ensuring project fiscal compliance.
  • Collect and compile DOL TXIT required data to analyze and prepare monthly/quarterly/closeout program and fiscal reports and interim/ad hoc reports both internal and external specific to SJCCD and funding agent requirements for the project to include monitoring the reporting of partners to ensure compliance.
  • Recruit, determine eligibility, case management, schedule training, and track participant progress.
  • Work with area directors to organize, procure, and/or create training courses as specified by the scope of the grant working with internal offices and external partner(s) as necessary to ensure compliance with grant requirements.

Additional Job Functions :
  • Work with internal and external stakeholder(s) to ensure quality instructional experiences and address training issues and resolve them as they arise.
  • Collaborate with Workforce Solutions Ombudsman to track project required SJCCD participant data.
  • Develop and disseminate grant related materials, project information, products/services as approved by funding agency.

Required Experience:

2 years of related experience in the following:
  • Project and management
  • Data management, tracking, and reporting
  • Case management
  • Recruitment and marketing

Preferred Experience:
  • Banner software, knowledge of state, federal and/or local funding guidelines, SJCCD College procedures/policies; and related industry experience.


Salary Grade: 24

Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. See Salary Schedule
