Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities

Administrative (20%)

  • Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure fairness in hiring practices
  • Participate in interview process with candidates to gauge interest, personality and salary requirements
  • Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and confirm the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately
  • Process appropriate payroll and human resource paperwork for all appointments, transfers, terminations or other actions.
  • Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization
  • Ensure proper off-boarding for employees leaving the College
  • Assist COO in the design and delivery of training to ITC staff
  • Serves on various department and College committees as assigned
  • May provide backup for department wide administrative staff when directed by senior staff.

Accounting (5%)

  • Oversees the preparation and processing of payables, deposits, journal transfers, etc.
  • Generates purchase orders at the request of department heads and staff while adhering to college and departmental policies. Has approval authority up to a defined limit.
  • Works with vendors to resolve issues related to purchase orders or invoices.

Diversity and Inclusion (30%)

  • Drives change needed along with the COO to create an increasingly diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment within ITC .
  • Works with the COO to develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive diversity plan through trainings, programs, policies, and recruitment efforts.
  • Collaborates with partners from across the campus to facilitate communication, collaboration, and sharing of ideas across divisions of the college and to assist in guiding the implementation of inclusive excellence strategies and tactics.
  • Works with the COO to develop diversity staffing strategies and implementation plans as well as programs to identify talent within and outside the college for positions of responsibility.
  • Provides annual reports on the outcomes of ITC's diversity strategy and programs.

Communication and Other (45%)

  • Leads overall ITC program goals through organization of events, assisting with service launches, and organizing review boards and presentations.
  • Drives the planning and execution of programs and events with the COO and Sr. Director of RTL designed to engage Dartmouth faculty, staff and students.
