The Production Engineering  Director within a Production Management team is responsible for providing leadership to our team for supporting the technology, applications and business by creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run. They will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to drive production stability with customer obsession. They will leverage their production support experience to identify and engineer solutions for chronic issues and automation initiatives that reduce toil in the environment.  This is a critical role requiring a highly dedicated individual who can take ownership, lead and provide technical & engineering support to various teams and internal/external stakeholders.
In addition to driving resolution of day-to-day issues, the Production Engineering  Director will work hand-in-hand with application development, infrastructure and implementation teams. The candidate will be  responsible for implementing best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains, and ensure risk and controls compliance for the supported platforms.
The ideal candidate for this role is a dynamic individual with excellent communication, strong analytical skills, business acumen and the ability to assimilate information quickly, with focus on incident and problem management.

  • Basic Knowledge of networking topology
  • Strong analytical & trouble shooting skills required
  • Must have hands-on experience on designing and implementing IVR and speech solutions.
  • Must have hands-on experience on Unix, Windows and Cloud environments
  • Knowledge on infrastructure, network zone, load balancing and data center
  • Experience in planning and implementing DR, HR and HA events
  • Knowledge on LDAP, Active Directory, Password vault, security protocols such as SSL certs, SSH keys and encryption
  • Experience on enterprise change management system
  • Should have an ability to run queries on Database for troubleshooting and reporting
  • Basic knowledge on file systems & storage such as NAS, SAN, NTFS etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Production/Support environment with functional experience in Change and Incident Management
  • Demonstrated ability to upgrade Genesys Components, TServer, ConfigServer, in a Test and Production Environment
  • Ability to configures, tests and debugs the routing configuration, or enhancements to existing software within the Genesys and IVR Framework
  • Demonstrated ability to translate and communicate business processes to applicable requirement types (functional, technical, etc)

Experience:
  • 5+ years of hands on Genesys Framework
  • 5+ years of hands on Genesys CTI Routing
  • 5+ years of hands on Genesys CCPulse, CCAnalyzer and CME
  • 5+ years of hands on IVR and speech applications
  • 5+ years of Call Center experience in supporting telephony applications and reporting
  • 3+ years’ experience managing and supporting OS: UNIX, Linux and Windows
  • 3+ years’ knowledge of supporting cloud solutions such as Azure or AWS
  • 3+ years of hands on knowledge of  troubleshooting DB: Cassandra, Hadoop, SQL, MySQL, Oracle
  • 3+ years’ experience with Programming Languages: VB, Java, JQuery, XML, VXML, HTML , Power Shell, Perl, Node.JS, Python
  • 1-3 years in working in an Agile program preferably Scrum and/or Kanban
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in IT Security Tools such as Fortify, Web Inspect, Blackduck
  • 1-3 years knowledge of implementing and configuring Splunk and Dynatrace
  • 1-3 years using automation technologies: Maven, Jenkins, Docker
  • 1-3 years’ experience supporting a distributed messaging layer: Kafka, MQ (Websphere MQ)
  • 1-3 years supporting APIs and services that utilize REST, SOAP and Web Services 
  • Experience in Disaster Recovery and Site Resiliency Engineering planning and test execution
  • Experience on network troubleshooting and packet tracing through TCP dump, OPNET and Wireshark.
  • Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes required
