Cybersecurity Technology Controls (CTC) delivers streamlined and consistent solutions supporting JPMorgan Chase’s Controls, Access Management and IT Risk agendas, with a focus on stability, delivery, efficiencies and people. The Global Identity and Access Management (GIAM) organization within CTC provides access control governance and Identity Services for all lines of business (LOBs) globally, providing the right access to the right people at the right time for all technology platforms and applications supported by CTC, and provides a comprehensive set of applications, tools, and staff to globally implement, monitor and manage technology risk solutions.

 

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our Privileged Access Management Team.  This person will need broad exposure to multiple technologies to assemble the right solution to a challenging problem. Integration projects are complex and involve collaboration from multiple teams, on different time schedules.

 

We are a progressive development team within the firm working on technology at a scale that is seldom found elsewhere in the world. We use agile methodologies in our development practices and believe that great software is developed through on-going thoughtful conversation as opposed to a big upfront design.

 

Responsibilities:

 

This will require an understanding of requirements, operating models, business flows and data and then partnering with technical specialists to deliver appropriate solutions. This role requires the ability to liaise between the lines of business and the development teams to translate business and design requirements into technical requirements. Strongly serving the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to support the customers

 

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented hands-on leader who can handle many different roles such as:

  • User Centric Design
  • Support Product Owner with defining user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team to plan sprints with
  • Collaborate cross functionality with infrastructure, support, and other software engineering teams.  This will require interfacing with members of your scrum team, and line of business product teams, business analysts from other teams to deliver solutions
  • Creating user help for end users and internal support team
  • Performing card (user story) reviews
  • Facilitating implementation of new functionality through training and demonstrations
  • Collaborating with business users and technology partners where needed
  • Analyze business requirements to understand the business needs and to determine how their applications can best functionally fulfill those needs
  • Combine knowledge of what the business wants with knowledge of how the systems are built and used to create a functional designs across applications
  • Working with scrum team to test and certify applications before they are deployed to productionPerform critical analysis on information consolidated from multiple sources, identify and resolve conflicts, and break down high-level information into detailed workable requirementsActively participate in adding to the wiki that is living documentation of the latest business and technical requirements


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of overall experience and 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst, System Analyst, or
  • Technical Analyst, with heavy emphasis on technology and implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written skills are critical since this job primarily entails communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with software technology teams
  • Experience with software development methodologies and practices (SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
  • General knowledge of financial services concepts and products
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with a variety of partners and stakeholders
  • Basic computer programming skills
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud solutions
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Required - ability to work with product, business and application teams to write technical user stories for the development team
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience writing technical stories in JIRA/confluence using industry standard notations
  • Experience working on large and medium scale software projects
