The Core Portfolio Office Business Intelligence/Data Visualization VP will be responsible in partnering with critical areas of our Product Organization to create meaningful reports and visualization dashboards to track and monitor our delivery against KPIs.   This role will serve as liaison between the Merchant Services Core Portfolio Office, Technology & Product Teams, as well as executive leadership to deliver meaningful insights that will drive process improvement and innovation.  The incumbent will work with the various teams to analyze business requirements and review/produce new dashboards and make  enhancements to existing dashboards.     

Responsibilities:

  • Develop complex interactive and dynamic dashboards with Tableau to deliver actionable insights. 

  • Solicit business requirements from the Core Portfolio Office, Product and Technology stakeholders, and management.

  • Understand business requirements very clearly, help stakeholders to define requirements, and understand data requirements to support the construction of insightful tools using those requirements.  

  • Lead all aspects of the dashboard development life cycle, from the initial kickoff through the requirements analysis, design, construction, and implementation.

  • Mentor & Coach internal development team members and promote a data driven culture around self-service analytics. 

  • Conduct dashboard demos to internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Responsible for maintaining accuracy and consistency across multiple dashboards that rely upon the same data sources. 

  • Responsible for optimizing user experience by designing intuitive, impactful, and visually compelling dashboards that drive business decisions.




  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Strong experience and a proven track record in Business Intelligence design and development.

  • 3+ years data visualization experience & Tableau experience required.  Tableau Desktop certification a plus. 

  • Proven ability to extract and shape datasets to drive dashboards using Alteryx.  Ability to build Alteryx workflows from scratch will be required.

  • Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly.  

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time management skills. 

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • Proactive in learning the business processes, data flows, and systems functionality in order to support and provide guidance to business partners.
