Software Engineer Lead - Salesforce & Marketo

Job Description

Merchant Services is looking for a Salesforce Lead Software Engineer VP, to help architect and build solutions on Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud Platform along with Marketo and DocuSign. In this role, you would work closely with Product Partners and business users to understand the Sales and CRM requirements on solving merchant-centric business problems with scalable architecture and Design principles.

As our next Software Engineer, you will work in various technology stack including Salesforce, Marketo, DocuSign, Mulesoft, Apigee, Cloud integration leverages microservices to name a few. As part of this role, you will be deeply involved in design, build, testing, training and implementation of features and capabilities. Cross functional leadership and organizational agility are a must!


Key responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:

  • Participate in design discussions with users, technical and functional stakeholders to analyze Salesforce.com functional, technical, integration and data needs and clarify, refine and document requirements
  • Be adept at decomposing high-level business needs into Salesforce.com requirements and explaining detailed technical concepts at a high level.
  • Collaborating with other developers within to design solutions that efficiently deliver the required enhancements on time and within budget
  • Ownership of all technical aspects of Salesforce.com, Sales and Service clouds, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, products, and custom code
  • Responsible for developing in Apex, Java, REST API and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
  • Designing and delivering enhancements and new functionality to support the business using the Salesforce.com platform features including: custom objects and fields, workflows, approval processes, Apex Code and Visualforce.
  • Strong analytical & Integration skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to translate requirements into application and operational deliverables.
  • Understanding of agile practices, BDD and TDD is a must
  • We need an innovative thinker to provide technical guidance concerning business implications of application development projects.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Engineering or Business
  • 8 – 10 years of overall industry experience in technology space.
  • 5+ years of experience in Salesforce large implementations.
  • 3+ years of experience in full SDLC process utilizing the Agile Methodology
