Business Description:

The Chase Auto business offers consumers car loans and leases through more than 12,000 auto dealerships across the country. Chase Auto is comprised of three businesses: Dealer Services Business that offers retail loans to consumers through Dealers, and provides banking and commercial lending to Dealers; Partnerships Business that offers leases and loans to consumers as a Captive Finance arm of five major Auto manufacturers; Direct Auto Business that offers loans directly to consumers through online and bank channels.


Position Summary:

The Head of Remarketing and Loyalty is responsible for leading the Vehicle Remarketing and Loyalty activities for CAF's auto finance portfolio. This position leads functions responsible for the sale of off-lease and repossessed vehicle inventories through a variety of sales channels (consumer, dealer, auction, internet and employee), Lease end call center operations, Vehicle Pricing Optimization, Dealer and OEM sales support, and a Customer Loyalty team responsible for driving customer loyalty to the OEM partner and Chase.

The major responsibilities include driving overall strategy for the business in Vehicle Remarketing and Loyalty, and executing relentlessly to achieve key business KPI’s and objectives. The person will be primary interface for these functions with the OEM C-suite, and to work with OEM organizations to develop a comprehensive and collective strategy for each brand. He/She will also be the lead in managing key Vendor relationships necessary to the functioning and developing of Remarketing and Loyalty activities.

This individual must possess a full understanding of residual risk policies and management, and become closely associated with each OEM contract to develop targeted strategies for each brand.

This position reports to the Head of Auto Partnerships. This individual and his/her team will work closely with Financial Management's residual risk team and the MIS and Strategy teams and will participate on the Residual Risk Committee. The person will work closely with the Marketing and IT functions to develop and execute on key business strategies. He/She will lead Business Reviews with OEM partners and internally with the CEO of Chase Auto.


  • 10+ years of Vehicle Remarketing Management experience with an Auto Captive Finance Company or a major bank involved in Off-Lease Vehicle Management

  • Vehicle remarketing Operations, Transportation and Title experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of End of Lease Term Sales.

  • In-depth knowledge of Vehicle Remarketing Sales Channels including: consumer, dealer, auction and internet

  • Customer Loyalty experience a strong plus

  • Experience in “Thinking and delivering Digital Customer Solutions”

  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience managing external partners

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Experience interfacing at senior levels of client organizations

  • Excellent analytical skills. Demonstrated ability in using analytics to drive decision processes

  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time
