The Wholesale Payments (www.jpmorganchase.com/ts) business within the CIB is a top-ranked, full-service provider of innovative payment, collection, liquidity and investment management, global trade finance, and information solutions to corporations, financial services institutions, multinational companies, and governments worldwide.  InstaMed, a subsidiary of J.P. Morgan within the CIB Wholesale Payments business, is engaged in payments and other services related to the healthcare industry.

 

The Compliance Department of JPMorgan Chase Bank is seeking a Compliance Vice President or Executive Director with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience to join the Wholesale Payments Compliance team and provide day-to-day compliance coverage for InstaMed, in Philadelphia where this role will located.  This is a unique opportunity to implement and deliver the J.P. Morgan Global Compliance Program at a recently acquired subsidiary.  The Wholesale Payments Compliance Vice President or Executive Director will report to a Compliance Director in WP Compliance.

 

The role does not have direct staff management responsibility. 


Responsibilities include: 

  • Represent WP Compliance at relevant business meetings or forums
  • Provide subject matter expertise on a wide range of regulatory and firm policy issues
  • Keep abreast of regulatory and legislative changes
  • Accountable for Second Line oversight of controls designed to ensure with compliance relevant laws and regulations
  • Monitor data/reports or other activities to oversee InstaMed compliance
  • Participate in ongoing Compliance risk assessments
  • Review new business initiatives and assess their regulatory implications
  • Will be a trusted advisor to the business on regulatory and compliance issues
  • Partner with colleagues across the Compliance organization, Global Financial Crimes Compliance and with other control functions  (e.g., Legal, Risk, Audit, Finance and Controls) on applicable issues
  • Assist Compliance Directors to provide oversight and assist the business with issue management



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant business, regulatory, audit or risk background
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills and the ability to manage several simultaneous projects

  • Solid execution skills, involving project management disciplines to ensure resolution and delivery

  • Solid business judgment and strategic thinking

  • Proven ability to communicate and work effectively with all associated stakeholder levels 

  • Self-starter and strongly motivated to achieve higher standards over time

  • Ability to deliver high quality results as part of a geographically dispersed global compliance team
