Eastern Washington University seeks to fill two Operations Manager positions.

We have immediate openings for an Operations Manager for each of the following departments:

  • Computer Science located on our Cheney campus, and
  • Physical Therapy located on our Spokane campus

Desired start date is September 2, 2019 (or as negotiated).

In general, Operations Managers report to the Department Chair and work independently within administrative guidelines to manage departmental resources and ongoing office, instructional, research, and co-curricular activities. Primary responsibilities include management of budget, resources, and office personnel; oversight of administrative operations; and planning, administering, and implementing administrative actions and decisions in support of department operations and the Chair.

Other key position responsibilities include: work cooperatively with faculty, staff, university administrators; analyze problems and provide the Chair with information, counsel, and reports of actions taken; act as liaison between the Chair and other personnel including, but not limited to, those in the Dean's office, Academic Affairs, Office of Grants and Research Development (OGRD), and EWU Foundation; initiate and complete special assignments as needed; and staff supervision as delegated.
