Fermilab's Facilities Engineering Services Sections seeks an experienced Office Property Clerk. Under general supervision, maintains the inventory of the Laboratory's capital, accountable, and sensitive assets. Processes excess materials requests and conducts verification audits.

You Will:
  • Maintain Fermilab' s Personal Property by inputting detailed data into Fermilab' s Personal Property Management system (Sunflower Assets).
  • Performs physical inventory of items stored in warehouse/railhead.
  • Process incoming excess material ensuring assets are properly documented in Fermilab's Personal Property Management system (Sunflower)
  • Conduct verification audits of capital equipment and sensitive items inventories.
  • Maintain “Equipment Held for Future Projects, spares and tooling materials stored in a controlled storage area.
  • Prepare and Maintain Agreements Between Fermilab and Various Institutions. (Backup)
  • Verify departing/retiring employees have transferred all assets assigned to them to the current employees.
  • Process received assets into the property tracking system (Sunflower)

We Are Looking For:
  • Associate degree in Business preferred with 1+years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills for both domestic and international personnel.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Windows-based computer applications, especially Office tools including Word, Excel, Explorer, and Outlook;
  • Experience in property management, preferred
  • Familiarity with Oracle, a plus

Relocation is not available for this position
